BJP announced Rekha Guptaa as Chief Minister for Delhi

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday announced Rekha Gupta a newly elected legislator as a Chief Minister candidate for Delhi. Sources said that Rekha Gupta will be the CM for Delhi while Parvesh Verma has been chosen as the Deputy Chief Minister.  The ceremony will begin at 11 am. Lt Governor VK Saxena.

New Delhi: The Bharatiya Janata Party on Wednesday announced Rekha Gupta a newly elected legislator as a Chief Minister candidate for Delhi.

Sources said that Rekha Gupta will be the CM for Delhi while Parvesh Verma has been chosen as the Deputy Chief Minister. 

The ceremony will begin at 11 am. Lt Governor VK Saxena will administer the oath of office to the CM-designate and the cabinet at 12.35 pm.

 A cultural program featuring music and songs will precede the ceremony; around 30,000 guests have been invited to the ceremony. RSS leaders and spiritual dharma gurus will also attend the oath ceremony. Industrialists and celebrities are likely to attend the program; BJP leaders and workers from other states who were deployed for the Delhi Assembly elections have also been invited to the ceremony. Laddli Bahanas, Delhi farmers, and around 30,000 guests have been invited to the oath-taking ceremony. 

The BJP scored a historic victory in the assembly elections held earlier this month, winning 48 of the 70 assembly seats. The party returned to power in the national capital after 27 years.

Earlier their were lot of debates on the Chief Minister face for Bhartaiya Janata Party in the national capital. However the recent announcement have spread joy in the BJP workers.
