Jakarta: In Jakarta, Indonesia, the All-Party Parliamentary Delegation, headed by JD(U) MP Sanjay Kumar Jha, met with ASEAN Secretary-General Dr. Kao Kim Hourn. During their discussion, both parties strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms and reaffirmed their dedication to fighting terrorism and promoting regional peace and security. The delegation and ASEAN leaders highlighted the need for collaboration among member states to effectively address terrorism and ensure stability in the region.

This meeting reflects ongoing efforts to strengthen diplomatic relations and enhance security cooperation between the parliamentary delegation and ASEAN. The delegation, which arrived in Jakarta after completing a visit to Singapore, is part of India’s broader diplomatic outreach under #OperationSindoor. The Indian Embassy in Jakarta shared on X that India remains committed to combating terrorism globally and seeks understanding and support from Indonesia, a key strategic partner.

So far, the delegation has toured Japan, South Korea, Singapore, and now Indonesia, as part of India’s international efforts against Pakistan-backed terrorism.
