Chandigarh : Gangster Bhagwanpuria’s fohas been arrested by Mohali Police along with 4 foreign pistols, 42 live cartridges and a car through drone from Pakistan border. Mohali SSP Dr. Sandeep Kumar Garg said that the team of Shiv Kumar in-charge Special Cell Staff Mohali led by Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, Jyoti Yadav, Police Captain (Investigation) Mohali and Gursher Singh, DSP (Special Branch and Criminal Intelligence), Mohali. Has succeeded in arresting the accused.

SSP said that a case was registered in Goindwal Sahib police station on January 3. He said that the accused Gurikbalmeet Singh alias Robin, who was absconding, was arrested from Bikaner.

The SSP said that during the investigation, it was revealed that the accused Gurikbalmeet Singh had come in contact with gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuria while in jail and ran away after coming out on bail in 2023. After coming out of jail, the accused gangster was running Bhagwanpuria’s gang.

The accused along with his partner Jagmeet Singh alias Jaggi had rented RTM Terry House in Sector-115 Kharar. At the same time, it has been revealed that Nishan had provided the recovered pistol to accused Gurikbalmeet Singh.

He told that Nishan, a resident of Portugal, is also a member of gangster Jaggu Bhagwanpuriya gang. Jagmeet Singh alias Jaggi, associate of accused Gurikbalmeet Singh, has been arrested by Batala police. The third accomplice Gursevak Singh alias Bam is still absconding.
