12% less voting in Haryana compared to 2019

Ambala is on first, least voting in Gurugram.

Haryana: On Saturday, voting took place on 10 Lok Sabha seats of Haryana from 7 am to 6 pm. According to the Election Commission’s voter turnout app, 58.15 percent voting took place till 6 pm on all seats.

However, this figure may also change. This time there has been 12.19 percent less voting compared to the 2019 elections. In 2019, 70.34 percent voting took place.

This time, the highest voting percentage was in Ambala at 61.33 percent and the lowest was in Gurugram at 53.24 percent.

Sporadic incidents also came to light during voting. There was a ruckus in Ambala after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s poster was thrown into the drain. BJP workers got enraged over this protest by Congressmen. After this they clashed with each other in front of the police.

There was an argument between BJP MLA and Congress supporters in Bhiwani. MLA Ghanshyam Das Saraf wanted to cast his vote for PA Satnarayan, but the supporters of Congress candidate Rao Dan Singh from Bhiwani-Mahendragarh Lok Sabha seat present at the polling station opposed it. There was an altercation between the MLA and Congress workers on this. Congress and BJP workers came face to face in Yamunanagar also.

Video of polling booth in Kurukshetra has gone viral. In this video the person is showing EVM-VVPAT while voting. Meanwhile, an elderly woman accused the booth agent of forcibly pressing the lotus button.

The woman from Panipat said that her bogus vote was cast. Whereas in Hisar someone else cast his vote for the old man.

A clerk posted on election duty died in Sonipat. The head constable’s health deteriorated while on duty in Rohtak.
