Sensex up nearly 1400 points: Nifty also up 400 points, market up as RBI raises GDP forecast

All 30 stocks of Sensex are up. The stock of IT company Wipro has risen the most by 5%. Bajaj Finance, Infosys, Tech Mahindra have risen by more than 3%. Shares of Tata Steel and UltraTech Cement have risen by more than 2%.

Reserve Bank raised GDP forecast, market up

RBI has raised the GDP growth forecast for the financial year 2024-2025 from 7% to 7.2%. At the same time, the inflation forecast has been retained at 4.5%. After this announcement by RBI Governor Shaktikanta Das, the market is booming.

Shares associated with Telugu Desam Party rose more than 34%

Shares of two companies associated with Telugu Desam Party, Heritage Foods and Amara Raja, have risen more than 34% in the last three days. Today, the share of Heritage Foods rose 4.47% to Rs 628. At the same time, the share of Amara Raja Energy is also up by 4.98%.

Amara Raja MD Jai Dev Galla is a former MP of the party, while the promoter of Heritage Foods is Nara Lokesh, son of party chief Chandra Babu Naidu. Heritage Group was founded in 1992 by Chandrababu Naidu. This company works in dairy, retail and agri segments.

Telugu Desam Party has won the assembly elections. At the same time, this party is a part of NDA. This party has an important role in the formation of the new government at the Center. Telugu Desam Party has won 16 seats in the Lok Sabha elections.

The market was up yesterday

Earlier yesterday, on June 6, the Sensex saw a rise. The Sensex closed at 75,074 with a gain of 692 points. Nifty also gained 201 points. It closed at 22,821. The midcap index rose by 2.28% and the smallcap index rose by 3.06%.

Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 23 rose and 7 fell. At the same time, tech, government bank and realty stocks rose the most. Tech Mahindra’s stock was the top gainer, it closed at Rs 1,323, up 4.43%. All 10 shares of Adani Group closed with gains.
