Ludhiana: After the non-bailable arrest warrant against Bollywood actor Sonu Sood the actor Monday appeared in Ludhiana court via video conferencing and gave his testimony in the fraud case of a multi-level marketing company.

According to sources, Sood told the court “I do not know the accused. I have nothing to do with him. I was not a brand ambassador in this. I don’t know why I was made a witness.”
The court will issue an order for Sonu Sood to testify. Now the hearing in this case will be held on March 20. Sonu Sood will not be called in this.
Let us tell you that the court of Ludhiana’s Judicial Magistrate First Class (JMIC) Ramanpreet Kaur had issued a non-bailable arrest warrant against Sonu Sood on January 29. The court had ordered the SHO of Oshiwara police station of Mumbai Andheri West to arrest Sonu and present him in the court.
Earlier a fraud case has been registered against a multi-level marketing company in Ludhiana. This company had made Sonu Sood its brand ambassador. The court had sent summons to Sonu Sood for testimony but he did not appear despite repeated summons.
Called as a witness, nothing to do with it
The actor earlier clarified through his official social media handle and wrote “We need to clarify that the news coming on social media platforms is extremely sensational. To be clear, the Hon’ble Court has called us as a witness in a third party related case, which we have nothing to do with.
