Ludhiana: Last night in Ludhiana, an unknown driver hit two women crossing the road. One woman died in the accident while the other is in critical condition. The doctors referred the injured woman to a private hospital. The police is searching for the unknown driver. The police is also checking CCTVs around the accident site to get lead and take the investigation further.
According to the information, an unknown vehicle at high speed hit two women crossing the road in front of Green Land School located on Jalandhar bypass late on Wednesday night. Due to the collision, the women fell far away. The woman Balbir Kaur, resident of Jassiyan village, died on the spot while Reena Devi, a resident of Prem Nagar, is in critical condition.
People immediately informed the police of Salem Tabri police station. The police immediately took both the women to the civil hospital with the help of 108 ambulance. In this regard, Sub Inspector Kashmir Singh, investigating officer of Salem Tabri police station, said that both women were taken to the civil hospital where one died while other is in critical condition.
