Amritsar: Former Cabinet Minister Adaish Pratap Singh Kairon arrived at Sri Akal Takht Sahib today to give clarification. As per the orders of Sri Akal Takht Sahib, the Cabinet Minister in the Akali Dal government came to the Golden Temple today. Adaish Pratap Singh is also a kin of Sukhbir Singh Badal but was expelled from the party over involving in anti-party activities.
Earlier, Shiromani Akali Dal chief Sukhbir Singh Badal, former minister Bibi Jagir, Dr. Daljit Singh Cheema, and many other ministers had also reached Sri Akal Takht Sahib to give clarification on their part. Ministers during the SAD’s tenure are being asked to clarify for the religious mistakes committed by them at that time.
Let us tell you that, in the meeting of five Singh Sahibans held on August 30 at Sri Akal Takht Sahib, while Sukhbir Singh Badal was declared Tankhaiya, 17 ministers were asked to appear within 15 days and give clarification. According to these orders, Akali Dal ministers and all those who were summoned are reaching and appearing before Akal Takht Sahib.
Adaish Pratap Singh Kairon was expelled from the party by Shiromani Akali Dal on 24 May 2024 for being involved in anti-party activities. Adaish Pratap Singh is married to Sukhbir Badal’s sister and thus is his brother-in-law.
