Sukhwinderpal Garcha joins BJP, Left SAD 2 days ago

Sukhwinderpal Singh Garcha has had good friendly relations with the BJP leadership while working together since the time of the Akali BJP coalition government.

Chandigarh: Former national vice president of Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) Sukhwinderpal Singh Garcha has joined the BJP. He had resigned from SAD two days ago. He joined the BJP in Chandigarh in the presence of BJP president Sunil Jakhar.

He is originally from Jalandhar. On this occasion, BJP Ludhiana president Rajneesh Dhiman, Lucky Chopra, youth leader Mahesh Sharma, Rohit Kumar Joshi, Rajdeep Singh, and Narinder Pal Singh were also present.

Sukhwinderpal Singh Garcha joined SAD in 1996 in the presence of then-SAD president S. Prakash Singh Badal and Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee president Jathedar Gurcharan Singh Tohra.

Sukhwinderpal Singh Garcha has had good friendly relations with the BJP leadership while working together since the time of the Akali BJP coalition government.
