Mumbai: Actress Taapsee Pannu, renowned for films like ‘Pink’, ‘Manmarziyaan’, and ‘Haseen Dillruba’, is celebrating Lohri while shooting for her upcoming film ‘Gandhari’.

According to a reliable source, Taapsee kicked off the new year energetically by filming for ‘Gandhari’ and is marking the festival on set this year. Although she typically celebrates Lohri with her family, her current shooting schedule has led her to celebrate on the film’s location instead.

Taapsee is enjoying a fulfilling period both professionally and personally. Last year, she married her long-time partner, badminton player Mathias Boe, in Udaipur, with wedding moments going viral online. In a widely shared video, Taapsee, in a vibrant red Punjabi outfit, danced to the folk song ‘Chitta Kukkar’ as she approached Mathias. Wearing sunglasses over her wedding attire, she joyfully hugged her husband on stage, while flower petals rained down around them. The wedding was a private affair, attended by a select few from the industry.

Among the guests were actor Pavail Gulati, who has collaborated with Taapsee on ‘Thappad’ and ‘Dobaara’, as well as filmmaker Anurag Kashyap, a close friend of Taapsee. Screenwriters Kanika Dhillon and Himanshu Sharma were also present.

Mathias, originally from Denmark, is a former badminton player turned coach. He made his international debut in 1998, achieving the world number one ranking in doubles. He currently coaches the Indian doubles team and won a silver medal in men’s doubles at the 2012 London Olympics and at the 2013 World Championship.
