Mumbai: Mathias Boe, the former badminton player, welcomed 2025 by sharing a rare black-and-white photo with his wife, actress Taapsee Pannu, taken during their marriage registration. He marked the occasion with a heartfelt Instagram post, reflecting on the significance of 2024, a year in which his girlfriend became his wife and their family expanded.
In his post, Mathias described 2024 as one of the most eventful years of his life, expressing wishes for a New Year filled with love from family and friends. Taapsee and Mathias tied the knot on March 23, 2024, in a private traditional ceremony in Udaipur, attended by a select group of close friends and family, including celebrities like Anurag Kashyap and Kanika Dhillon.
Notably, Taapsee has yet to share any official wedding photos on social media. The couple originally met during the inaugural Indian Badminton League in 2013, where Taapsee was the brand ambassador for the Hyderabad Hotshots, while Mathias played for the Awadhe Warriors.
Recently, Taapsee revealed that they had a court marriage in December 2023, explaining that their wedding went unnoticed because they chose not to make a public announcement. On the work front, she is set to appear in the action thriller “Gandhari,” directed by Devashish Makhija, which will delve into the deep bond between a mother and child.
