Tamil Nadu: A bakery in Ramanathapuram, Tamil Nadu, has created a remarkable 7-foot-tall cake featuring the legendary industrialist and philanthropist Ratan Tata alongside his dog. This unique cake, made by Aishwaryaa’s Bakery, has become a major attraction for locals as part of the bakery’s annual Christmas and New Year celebrations.
The bakery, known for making cakes shaped like iconic figures, has previously honored personalities such as music legend Ilaiyaraaja, poet and freedom fighter Bharathiyar, and football star Diego Maradona. This year, they chose to pay tribute to Ratan Tata, a symbol of integrity, innovation, and philanthropy in Indian business.
Weighing about 60 kilograms, the cake required several days of intricate work. Its impressive size and detail have drawn large crowds, with many students and families stopping by to take photos with the creation.
Ratan Tata, born on December 28, 1937, served as the chairman of Tata Group and Tata Sons from 1991 to 2012 and was interim chairman between 2016 and 2017. His contributions to Indian industry and social causes have earned him widespread respect.
The bakery’s owner explained that Ratan Tata’s legacy inspired the design, and every year they strive to create something special for the festive season. The choice to honor Tata was driven by the immense love and respect people have for him. Locals have praised the bakery’s creativity, calling the cake a fitting tribute to a great personality and a standout festive attraction.
