Mumbai: After working with Rohit Shetty on Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, Tejasswi Prakash went on to star in the filmmaker’s first Marathi production, School College Ani Life, in 2023.
Tejasswi Prakash has made her return to television with Celebrity MasterChef, where she is showcasing her culinary talents. Prior to this, she participated in Bigg Boss 15 and Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, sharing screen space with several well-known personalities. During her time on the stunt-based reality show, she had the opportunity to work with Rohit Shetty and later, she featured in his debut Marathi production, School College Ani Life.
In a recent interview, Tejasswi spoke about her bond with the filmmaker and why she considers him a truly kind-hearted person.
Speaking to leading news portal, Tejasswi was shown a few pictures of herself with Rohit Shetty, prompting her to say, “This is me and Rohit sir having fun. He is very fond of me.” She went on to add, “He is that one judge—there’s no one like him, no one in the world like him. I have met a lot of people, and that’s why I say this, trust me. Because if you are a good person and you say things with the best intentions, Rohit Shetty is the kind of man who will understand and accept you for who you are.”
Tejasswi also mentioned that, despite her sometimes making the most random remarks, Rohit Shetty would always take them as jokes. She believes that if it were anyone else, they might have asked her to behave differently given his stature. She excitedly explained, “He doesn’t have that kind of attitude, even though he could. Have you seen the man? He is huge. He is tall and broad, and he could easily have that air about him—but he doesn’t. He is a softy at heart. He is such a nice person; he is the best.”

After Khatron Ke Khiladi 10, Tejasswi was cast in Rohit Shetty’s first Marathi film, School College Ani Life, in 2023. Starring alongside Karan Parab, the film follows a young man as he navigates the joys and struggles of childhood and adulthood. It was directed by Vihan Suryavanshi and co-produced by Rohit Shetty, Pavitra Gandhi, and Vivek Shah, in association with Reliance Entertainment.
Apart from Tejasswi, Celebrity MasterChef features contestants including Nikki Tamboli, Rajiv Adatia, Gaurav Khanna, Dipika Kakar, Abhijeet Sawant, Archana Gautam, Faisal Shaikh (popularly known as Mr. Faisu), Usha Nadkarni, Kabita Singh, and Chandan Prabhakar. The show premiered on Sony TV on 27 January.
