Three killed in Rajasthan road accident

Jaipur: In a tragic incident that happened at Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan around three people have been killed  and two others injured following a collision between a bus and a Bolero car Monday. Reports reaching said that the deceased including a husband and wife and who were traveling in a jeep when it collided.

Jaipur: In a tragic incident that happened at Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan around three people have been killed  and two others injured following a collision between a bus and a Bolero car Monday.

Reports reaching said that the deceased including a husband and wife and who were traveling in a jeep when it collided with a bus resulting in the death of all three.

Official sources said that all three died on the spot.

He also said that the family was en-route to Punjab to attend a mourning ceremony.

The collision was reported due to dense fog, which reduced visibility on the road. The impact caused a traffic jam in the area.

Police arrived promptly, cleared the vehicles to the roadside, and rushed the injured to the hospital.

The deceased were transported to the government hospital mortuary in Padampur. The roadways bus departed from Sri Ganganagar at 7 a.m., heading towards Bikaner.

Around 8 a.m., it collided with a jeep which was traveling from a Rajasthan village toward Punjab.

The severity of the collision caused a loud explosion, leaving the front portion of the jeep completely wrecked.

Hearing the noise, nearby field workers rushed to the scene to rescue the injured.

Tragically, three occupants of the jeep had already died by the time help arrived.

The victims were identified as Badal Singh (45), his wife Swarnjit Kaur (44), and Badal Singh’s brother Gurcharan Singh (50), all residents of a village in Rajasthan.
