Two shot in Ludhiana in robbery attempt, probe on

The Ladowal police have registered an FIR against three unidentified accused and started investigation.

In a failed robbery attempt in Ludhiana, three bike-borne miscreants shot two cousins ​​near Khaira Bet village in Ladowal. In this incident, one has been reported injured.  The bullet hit the youth’s left leg. The injured were rushed to Dayanand Medical College and Hospital (DMCH), where their condition is said to be stable.

The Ladowal police have registered an FIR against three unidentified accused and started investigation. The police suspect that the boys were attacked due to some rivalry. The FIR was lodged on the complaint of 17-year-old Gurkamal Singh, a class 11 student resident of Sidhwan Bet.

Gurkmal said that on February 16, he was going from Hambra to Sidhwan Bet on a bike with his cousin 17-year-old Harmanjot. He was driving the bike, while Harmanjot Singh was sitting on the back seat. He said that three bike riders tried to block his way with the intention of robbery. However, he did not stop there and managed to escape quietly.

The accused started abusing and opened fire. The bullet hit Harmanjot’s left leg. She was taken to DMCH. Later, she informed the Ladowal police.
