Kapurthala: Kapurthala’s Subhanpur police station has arrested another accused on the information given by the accused woman in the case of arresting a woman with drugs. A case has been registered against him under the NDPS Act. This has been confirmed by Badshahpur Chowki Incharge Lakhveer Singh.
Subhanpur police station SHO Kanwarjit Singh said that yesterday, Badshahpur Police Chowki Incharge Lakhveer Singh arrested a woman smuggler, Raj Kaur alias Rani, a resident of Dere Badshahpur, with 112 drugs during patrolling. A case was registered against him under the NDPS Act.
During interrogation, the arrested woman told me that Jagdish Singh alias Manga alias Ravi, a resident of village Bijli Nangal Dhilwan, is also involved with her in this work. Police have registered a case against the accused under the NDPS Act and arrested him as well.
