Jalandhar, April 10: Punjab’s iconic dairy brand Verka launches new mascot, “VEERA”, in fresh move to boost brand identity and deepen emotional connect with consumers, especially the younger generation and families.

The adorable and energetic Veera- designed as a cheerful, animated character – was officially launched today across Verka’s social media platforms and product campaigns. The mascot is expected to become the friendly face of the brand, symbolising purity, nutrition, and trust – values Verka has long been associated with.

The video features “Veera”, a young sikh boy dressed in a blue “patka” and T-shirt, doing a cheerful dance.

Verka’s move to launch veera as its new face comes as a part of a broader strategy to increase the brand’s visibility and connect with younger audiences. The video has already gained attraction on Social Media, with fans expressing their excitement over the cheerful new mascot.

What “VEERA” Stands for 

According to Verka, Veera embodies the spirit of Punjab- vibrant, dependable, and full of life. “With Verra, we aim to create a relatable and joyful brand ambassador who resonates with children and families. The mascot reflects our commitment to quality dairy and healthy living”, a senior official from MILKFED Punjab said.

Brand Evolution with Tradition:

Known for its wide range of dairy products- milk, butter, ghee dahi, lassi, paneer, and more – Verka has been a household name in North India for decades. The launch of Veera is part of Verka’s modernisation strategy to appeal to the evolving consumer landscape while staying rooted in its traditional values.

Veera will soon be seen in Verka’s ad campaigns, retail stores, packaging, School engagement programs, and digital outreach. Interactive content featuring Veera is also planned to educate kids on health, nutrition, and sustainable dairy farming in a fun and engaging way.
