Mumbai: Zanai Bhosle, granddaughter of legendary singer Asha Bhosle, has denied rumours of dating Indian cricketer Mohammed Siraj. Speculation arose after a photo from her 23rd birthday party showed them seated together. Zanai addressed the rumours on Instagram, calling Siraj “mere pyaare bhai” (my loving brother), while Siraj responded with a heartfelt message comparing her to the moon among stars.
Zanai is set to make her acting debut in The Pride of Bharat – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, where she will play Rani Sai Bhonsale. Director Sandeep Singh praised Zanai’s artistic talents and her connection to Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s royal lineage, as well as her illustrious musical heritage.

Asha Bhosle, Zanai’s grandmother, is one of India’s most celebrated playback singers, honoured with the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2000 and the Padma Vibhushan in 2008. Her legacy, along with that of her sister Lata Mangeshkar and other musical greats, continues to inspire generations.
