An alleged henchman of the Lawrence gang in Pathankot has demanded a ransom of Rs 10 crore from an immigration consultant. The victim has been threatened with death if he does not pay the money. The alleged gangster also gave the consultant his office and home addresses. At around 1:19 pm, he received a WhatsApp call from a foreign number, +16064541086, but for some reason, the call failed. After some time, he received another WhatsApp call from another number, +19123103107.

Declared himself a member of the Lawrence gang
When Sachin answered the call, the caller identified himself as Arju. He clearly said that he was a member of the Lawrence gang. When Sachin answered, the accused gave him the full address of his house and office with the intention of intimidating him. He was threatened.

Demand of Rs 10 crore, threatened on refusal
The victim has alleged that the accused made a threatening phone call and demanded a ransom of Rs 10 crore. When the victim expressed his inability to pay such a huge amount, the accused threatened to kill her if the demand was not met. After giving the threat, the accused disconnected the call.

Police registered a case
