Lucknow: Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak Arrives at Chinhat CHC for Surprise Inspection

A stir ensued on Monday at the Community Health Center (CHC) located in Chinhat, Lucknow, when Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister and Health Minister Brajesh Pathak arrived to conduct a surprise inspection. The hospital administration and staff were thrown into a flurry upon seeing the Deputy CM, who had arrived without any prior notice.

During the inspection, the Deputy CM proceeded directly to the OPD, where he interacted with the patients present to gather feedback regarding the healthcare facilities being provided at the hospital. He also inquired with the patients about the availability of medicines, diagnostic tests, and doctors.

While there, he also took stock of the cleanliness within the hospital premises and expressed his displeasure upon finding unsanitary conditions. He examined the attendance register to verify whether doctors and healthcare workers were present on duty on time. The Deputy CM issued clear directives to the officials, stating that no form of negligence in patient care would be tolerated.

Furthermore, he sought information from officials regarding the Communicable Disease Control Campaign; while reviewing the campaign’s route map, he issued instructions to ensure its effective implementation.

This surprise inspection by Deputy CM Brajesh Pathak is being viewed as a strong message to the Health Department to maintain proper standards in government hospitals and to ensure that patients receive quality medical treatment.
