Fire Station Officer Pushpendra Kumar Yadav of the Chowk station stated that the fire station received a report of a fire at 11:00 AM. Upon receiving the information, two fire tenders from the local station along with one vehicle from the Hazratganj Fire Station were immediately dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, the team discovered that the fire had broken out on the second floor of the residence belonging to Mohammad Sharif. The flames were spreading rapidly through a stock of notebooks, books, and general store merchandise.

The fire team arrived promptly upon receiving the alert; however, reaching the scene took some time due to the narrow lanes. Relief operations were initiated by connecting multiple pipes. Subsequently, after an hour of strenuous effort, the situation was brought completely under control.
