Ludhiana: 7-year-old severely mauled by Dogs, condition critical

A terrifying incident involving stray dogs occurred in Thakarwal village, near Omax Flats on Pakhowal Road in Ludhiana. Three stray dogs viciously attacked a 7-year-old boy named Arpit. The attack was so brutal that the dogs severely mauled the child’s head. The boy is currently receiving treatment at a private hospital.

Arpit’s father, who works as a gardener at a nearby farmhouse, said that his son was playing outside the farmhouse as usual. A kite fell nearby, and Arpit went a little further to catch it. Three stray dogs, already present there, suddenly attacked him. The dogs knocked the innocent child to the ground and began to viciously bite his head and body.

The father said the dogs would have killed him if no one had intervened.

By the time people arrived to help after hearing the child’s screams, the dogs had already left Arpit covered in blood. The father said the dogs were very dangerous; they had completely mauled his son’s head. If people hadn’t come to his rescue in time, they would have killed him.

Immediately after the incident, Arpit was taken to the civil hospital in a bloodied condition. However, the wounds were so deep and his condition so critical that the doctors referred him to another hospital after providing initial treatment. The family has now taken him to a private hospital where his condition remains serious.

The victim’s family and local residents are outraged by this incident. The father has appealed to the administration to catch these dogs as soon as possible. He said that this incident happened to his child today, and tomorrow another child could become a victim of these dogs.
