Masked Thieves Steal ₹2.25L from Ludhiana Courier Hub

Ludhiana, April 22: Audacious thieves have carried out a major heist in the Sector 39 area of ​​Ludhiana city. Targeting the hub of Shadowfax Courier Company located opposite Ram Darbar the thieves made off with ₹2.25 lakh in cash and the cash locker itself. The entire incident was captured on the CCTV cameras installed within the office.

Two Thieves Arrived with Covered Faces

The CCTV footage clearly shows that around 1:30 AM on Wednesday, two masked thieves arrived outside the office. The thieves cleverly broke the lock on the shutter, lifted it open, and gained entry. In the video, both suspects are seen moving around inside the office and heading directly to the spot where the cash locker was kept.

Locker Uprooted; Thieves Flee the Scene

The thieves neither touched the valuable parcels kept there nor laid a hand on any other electronic equipment. They simply uprooted the locker and fled the scene.

Accused Arrived with a Thorough Plan

Company representative Jasjit Singh stated that they had locked up the office and left at 10:00 PM. The theft came to light in the morning when the team leader arrived to oversee the unloading process.

Questions Raised Over Police Response: No Team Arrived Even After the Incident

The aggrieved party alleges that while the case falls under the jurisdiction of the Moti Nagar Police Station and the police have been duly informed, no police team has yet arrived at the scene to conduct an inspection, nor has a formal FIR been registered. The company management is now demanding swift action from the police and the immediate arrest of the accused.
