Major fire breaks out at two houses in Ludhiana; residents safely evacuated

A massive fire suddenly broke out in two houses in the petrol pump lane at Bharat Nagar Chowk in Ludhiana today. Seeing smoke coming out of the houses, people raised an alarm. The residents of both houses were safely evacuated.

The cause of the fire is still unknown, but eyewitnesses said that it was caused by a short circuit. People tried to extinguish the fire, but seeing the situation worsen, the fire brigade was informed.

Fire brigade officials also evacuated people from nearby houses as a precaution. Currently, three fire brigade vehicles are engaged in extinguishing the fire. The fire has created panic in the area.
