Massive Fire Erupts in Ludhiana Flat, Mother and Son Rescued

Ludhiana: A massive fire broke out in a warehouse in Jagjit Nagar quarters near Hero Bakery Chowk in Ludhiana’s busy area. The fire was so terrible that smoke plumes and flames started rising from the entire warehouse.

During this, a woman and her 3-year-old innocent child were trapped inside the warehouse, due to which there was a scream. Luckily, a neighbour came and risked his life to get both of them out safely.

Screams were coming from inside, the outside was locked.

At the time of the incident, a young man named Rahul, who runs a shop nearby, first saw smoke and flames rising from the warehouse. Rahul immediately reached the spot. The fire had spread badly both inside and outside the warehouse. Meanwhile, Rahul heard painful screams of ‘save-save’ from inside the warehouse. When Rahul and his companions moved forward, they saw that the main gate of the room in the warehouse was locked from the outside and inside the mother and son were fighting a battle of life and death. The situation was extremely delicate and each moment was overwhelming.

Broke the lock with a pan, put it in the car and took it to the hospital.

In order to save the innocent and the woman who was suffering inside, Rahul immediately picked up an iron pan lying nearby and started hitting the lock with full force. Rahul finally broke the lock by striking. As soon as the lock was broken, he entered the midst of the blazing fire and smoke and deliberately pulled out the trapped woman and her 3-year-old son. The woman’s hair and arms were badly burnt due to the flames, while the child is said to be safe. As soon as they were evacuated, the injured were immediately put in a car and admitted to the nearby Deepak Hospital, where the woman is undergoing treatment under the supervision of doctors.

The fire brigade was brought under control.

Giving information about the case, Fire Brigade Officer Karamjit Singh said that they received information about the fire in this warehouse at the control room at around 1:00 pm. As soon as the information was received, the fire brigade vehicles were immediately dispatched to the spot. The fire was completely controlled by the fire brigade personnel after a lot of hard work. The cause of the fire is being ascertained in the initial investigation, but due to Rahul’s bravery, a major accident was averted today.
