Ludhiana Police Deploy Drones to Crack Down on Deadly Chinese Manjha Before Lohri

Ludhiana: The Ludhiana administration has taken toughest stance against the deadly Chinese Manjha. Following the success of drone surveillance in other major Punjab cities like Amritsar and Jalandhar, sources say the Ludhiana police have also decided to deploy a drone wing on the city’s rooftops. The high-tech drones will be flown under the direct supervision of police officers.

These drones will provide clear videography of rooftops in densely populated areas, villages, and towns. This no-fly zone campaign will continue daily until the Lohri festival. Police teams will monitor kite flyers through live feeds from the control room. Police officers will also conduct checks in markets to determine which shopkeepers are selling that Manjha.

Police said – strict action will be taken against the use of China Manjha 

If anyone is found using China Manjha, a plastic door, the police will trace and arrest them on the spot. The police have made it clear that using China Door will no longer be considered a minor offense. Since this door is proving fatal to humans and innocent birds, a case will be filed against the accused if caught.

The administration appeals: “We don’t want anyone’s happiness to become the cause of someone else’s mourning. People should use only cotton rope. Drones are monitoring every rooftop, so don’t violate the law.”
