Notice to 393 private schools in Ludhiana; SHVR data to be filed by 2 pm

The District Education Officer of Ludhiana has issued a notice to 393 private schools in the district, requiring them to fill in the Clean and Green School (SHVR) data on the portal by 2 pm, or their NOCs will be revoked. Private school operators are in a state of panic after receiving the short-term notice from the District Education Department.

The Ministry of Education, Government of India, launched this portal to ensure a clean and hygienic school environment. School operators are required to share information on school cleanliness and the trees and plants planted in schools. After submitting the information, schools will be rated. The District Education Department had instructed school principals to fill in the data on this portal. 393 schools in the Ludhiana district failed to fill in the data.

Certificates must be submitted by 2 pm

In the notice sent to schools, DEO Secondary Dimple Madan stated that they must fill in the data on the portal by 2 pm and submit the report to the Block Nodal Officer. For this, school principals must prepare a completion certificate on their letterhead and submit it. The DEO has also instructed the BNO to submit their report to his office by 3 pm.

Private schools will not be able to operate if their NOCs are revoked.

District Education Officer Dimple Madan stated that any school that does not submit its data to the portal by 2 pm will have its NOC revoked. She clarified that no school can operate without an NOC. She added that private school principals will be held responsible for this action. Schools that submitted their data before the notice was issued should also inform the BNO immediately.
