Private Schools in Ludhiana Directed to Upload Uniform and Book Lists Online on Thier Websites

Ludhiana: The District Education Officer (Secondary Education), Ludhiana, has directed all private school principals in the district to upload the list of uniforms and books for the academic session 2026–27 on their school websites.

The District Education Office issued these instructions after receiving complaints from parents about the lack of clarity about school uniforms and books.

The order states that all private schools must upload the class-wise list of books and uniforms on the homepage of their websites within three days. The list should include complete details of the books such as title, author, and publisher. Schools have also been asked to inform the District Education Office after completing the process.

In addition, the education department has instructed schools to conduct student admissions in the first week of April instead of March.

The District Education Officer has directed all schools to strictly follow these instructions.
