Car Hits Biker Couple in Ludhiana, Truck Approaching From Behind Crushes Them; FIR Filed After 9 Days

Ludhiana: A road accident has been reported in Ludhiana, in which a truck ran over a woman following a collision involving a speeding car. The woman sustained severe injuries in the accident and has been admitted to a hospital. She has suffered extensive injuries. The police have registered a case against unidentified accused persons.

Accident Occurred While Crossing a Road Cut

According to the complainant, Mohit Mangla a resident of BVS Nagar, Bhavsindhi Enclave—he was riding a motorcycle with his wife, Muskan (aged 26), on the night of April 18, 2026, at approximately 9:00 PM. When they reached the Sodhi Complex road cut near the 200-Feet Road in Dugri, a speeding white car approaching from the opposite direction negligently collided with their bike.

After the fall, a truck immediately runs over the victim

Upon impact, both individuals fell onto the road. At that very moment, a truck approaching from behind ran over Muskan, inflicting severe injuries upon her.

Hospitalised; Condition Critical

The injured woman was immediately admitted to DMC Hospital, Ludhiana, where she is currently undergoing treatment. According to the doctors, her condition remains critical.

The Dugri Police Station has registered a case against the unidentified car driver under Sections 281, 125(A), 125(B), and 324(2) of the BNS (Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita) and has initiated an investigation. The police state that efforts are underway to identify the accused with the assistance of nearby CCTV cameras.
