Man’s Body Found Under Suspicious Circumstances in Ludhiana, Police Probe Murder, Suicide and Accident Angles

Ludhiana: The body of a man was found under suspicious circumstances on a railway line near Sahnewal Airport in Ludhiana. The GRP (Government Railway Police) has taken custody of the body and initiated an investigation. The body was in an advanced state of decomposition and severely mutilated, making immediate identification difficult.

During their investigation at the scene, the GRP officers discovered an Aadhaar card near the body. Based on this document, the deceased was identified as 31-year-old Gudu Kumar, a native of the Siwan district in Bihar. Investigating Officer ASI Tejinder Singh confirmed this information.

An inquiry is currently underway to determine the cause of death. It remains unclear whether he committed suicide or lost his life in an accident. The police are also investigating the possibility of a murder resulting from a criminal conspiracy.

Retained in Ludhiana for Employment

According to reports, Gudu Kumar was unmarried and had been living in Ludhiana for employment purposes. Upon receiving news of the incident, the deceased’s family members arrived in Ludhiana. The police have deposited the body in the mortuary of the Civil Hospital for a post-mortem examination. Given the gravity of the case, the police have requested a forensic examination to ascertain the precise cause of death.

Police Investigating the Cause of Death 

The police have stated that further action will be taken and the body handed over to the family only after the forensic team’s report is received. Currently, the police are investigating the case from every possible angle, attempting to determine whether the incident was an accident, a suicide, or the result of a criminal conspiracy.
