Ludhiana Wedding Firing: After 37 days accused Shubham still out of police’s grip

Thirty-seven days ago, a shootout occurred between two rival gangs, led by Ankur Ludhiana and Shubham Mota, at Bath Castle marriage palace on Pakhowal Road in Ludhiana, Punjab. Two people were killed in the firing: Vasu, a hosiery businessman, and Neeru, a resident of Jalandhar.

The police arrested some individuals in connection with the case, but the main culprits remain at large. The Ludhiana police have completely failed to apprehend the key suspects. It has now been 37 days since the incident.

The police have been unable to arrest either Shubham Mota or Rubal, a member of Ankur’s gang. Both Shubham Mota and Rubal are reportedly close associates of politicians, which is why the district police appear to be under pressure.

Shots fired after the groom’s entry

The groom, Varinder Kapoor, stated that he had made arrangements for approximately 1000 guests. The shooting began before the bride’s entry. He managed to save himself by taking cover.

The groom said he did not know who fired the shots or the reason behind the shooting.
