The final hearing on the bail plea of Divya, accused in the Magan Suhag suicide case in Rohtak, was scheduled for today, but due to Judge Shailendra Kumar going on leave, the next hearing will now be held on September 11.
In the first hearing held on September 8, the judge had asked questions to the investigating officer, but the officer was unable to answer, so the hearing was postponed to September 9.
It is worth noting that Magan Suhag, a resident of the village of Dobh, committed suicide by hanging himself on June 18. Before his death, he made a video and blamed his wife Divya and Maharashtra Police constable Deepak for his death.
In this case, the accused Divya was arrested from Goa on July 9, while the High Court had stayed Deepak’s arrest.
Divya called Magan a drug addict
Divya said in her bail plea that when she was pregnant, Magan was in jail for 3 months in the NDPS Act case. Magan was a drug addict, for whom she arranged bail. Due to Magan’s habit of drinking, he decided to take up a job and worked as a catering waiter in Ahmedabad.
Deepak had told Divya that she was a bar dancer.
Deepak, who was made an accused in the suicide case, told the police during interrogation that Divya is a bar dancer, whom he met in a bar. Once he had called Divya to a hotel and Divya had made a video of the dance on her phone. He has no relation with Divya. He had called Divya by paying money.
