Maha: 10 sustained injuries in ONGC Mumbai High fire incident

New Delhi, April 4 (IANS): Ten personnel sustained minor injuries after a fire broke out on the SHP Platform of Oil and Natural Gas Corporation Limited (ONGC) at its Mumbai High Asset on Friday.

The incident was reported at approximately 17:45 hours, according to a company statement.

Emergency Response and Medical Care
ONGC confirmed that the fire was promptly brought under control and extinguished by its emergency response teams.

All injured personnel are currently under medical care and are reported to be in stable condition.

Operations Normalised After Incident
The company emphasised that operations at the offshore installation have been normalised following the incident.

The Mumbai High Asset, located in the Arabian Sea off the coast of Mumbai, remains one of ONGC’s most significant offshore oil fields and a key contributor to India’s energy production.
