Mahal Kalan: Main accused arrested in desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib

Amritsar: Jalandhar Rural Police arrested the main accused in the case of desecration of Sri Guru Granth Sahib at the Gurdwara in Mahal Kalan village. Police acted promptly after the incident was reported in the Goraya police station area and succeeded in apprehending the accused.

Jalandhar Rural SSP Harvinder Singh Virak stated that the police acted immediately after receiving information about the incident and arrested the accused without delay. He said that this arrest exemplifies the police department’s strict response to sensitive cases.
