Maharashtra: Eight people, including three children, were killed and three others injured in a collision between a truck and a Bolero in Maharashtra’s Bhandara district on Friday. According to police, the accident occurred around 4 a.m. near Pimpalgaon Road on the Nagpur-Raipur National Highway.
The passengers were traveling from Raipur, Chhattisgarh, to Nagpur via National Highway 53. Two JCBs were used to free the pickup truck from the truck. Police arrived at the scene upon learning of the incident and began rescue operations.

Earlier on Thursday, a van and a truck collided on the Nanded-Bhokar Road in Nanded district, killing six people and seriously injuring eight others.
According to police, the accident occurred near Sitakhandi Ghat around 7 p.m. The Tata Magic van was traveling from Nanded to Bhokar when it collided with an oncoming truck.
The impact of the collision was so severe that the van was severely damaged. Locals rushed to the scene and rescued the injured trapped inside the van. All the injured were taken to nearby hospitals for treatment.
