“We’re both born to be peaceful people. We don’t like drama, fights, or mess. We made this decision mutually and went our separate ways. It was the right thing for us.”

Mahhi Responds to Questions About Children

Reacting to the hateful comments, Mahi said, “I’m reading a lot in the comments section. People are asking why we adopted children, why we had children?

Our bank account isn’t empty. We can take care of our children. And it’s not like Jay has shirked his responsibilities or that I have nothing. Our three children will continue to live their lives as before.

This is a good thing for the kids. They’ll see that just because something isn’t working doesn’t mean you have to make a mess during the demolition process or drag each other to court. I think my kids will be proud of me and Jay.

Rs 5 Crore Alimony Claim Rubbed Out

Meanwhile, after the divorce announcement, it was claimed that Mahi had asked for a divorce alimony of 5 crore rupees. Speaking about this claim, Mahhi said, “I was seeing on Instagram that people were saying that Mahhi had accepted a 5 crore rupee alimony just to get likes and comments. This is very sad.”
