Major road accident in Ambala: Truck overturned on a moving bike, two youths killed

A tragic accident occurred on Monday morning on the Tangri Bridge on the Ambala-Delhi National Highway. A speeding loading truck lost control and first hit a car and then overturned on two young men riding a bike.

Both young men were crushed under the truck and died on the spot. A traffic jam of about a kilometer long formed on the highway following the accident. However, it is being reported that the death toll may be higher.

Screams and cries after the accident

The accident occurred around 10 a.m. Eyewitnesses reported that the truck was moving at a high speed. It hit the car from behind, damaging it, but the occupants of the car narrowly escaped. Immediately afterward, the truck lost control and overturned, hitting a bike that was also traveling alongside.

Bodies retrieved using a crane

As soon as the accident was reported, a large police force arrived at the scene. A crane was called to remove the young men and the bike trapped under the truck. The bodies were retrieved only after considerable effort. The bike was shattered due to the heavy weight of the truck.
