Man first strangled wife to death with belt, later commits suicide in Kurukshetra

A shocking incident has come to light in Dabkhera village, under the Ladwa police station area of ​​Kurukshetra, where a man strangled his wife to death with a belt and then committed suicide by jumping into a pond. The incident reportedly took place around 1 AM on Sunday night.

The deceased couple has been identified as Ranjit Singh and Nisha, residents of Dabkhera village. The couple had two sons. Upon receiving the information, the police reached the spot in the morning.

The police took the woman’s body into custody and sent it for post-mortem examination. With the help of diver Pragat Singh, Ranjit Singh’s body was recovered from the pond and handed over to the police.
