Uttar Pradesh: In Maharajganj, a tragic incident took place where the husband of a female Sashastra Seema Bal (SSB) officer allegedly killed his two young children before taking his own life. He reportedly hung his son and daughter from a window using a rope and later hanged himself from a hook on the ceiling.
Before ending his life, the man wrote a suicide note on the wall of the room. In the note he wrote, “The cause of our death is my wife and her lover Sonu Gautam. She talks to Sonu even while living with me. I cannot keep the children away from me.”
Tenants Alerted After Hearing Children’s Screams
The incident happened around 7 a.m. on Sunday. When the children were attacked, they screamed loudly. Tenants living on the lower floor heard the noise and became suspicious.
They called out but received no response from inside the room. The tenants then went upstairs and knocked on the door, but it remained locked from inside. After this, they informed the woman SSB officer, who was on duty at that time.
Bodies Found After Door Was Broken
A short time later, the woman returned home and knocked on the door, but it did not open. The door was then broken open. Everyone present was shocked by the scene inside the room.
The bodies of the couple’s four-year-old son and three-year-old daughter were found hanging from the window with a rope, while the husband’s body was hanging from a hook in the living room.
Police and SSB personnel soon arrived at the scene to begin an investigation.

Around 7 a.m., a tenant living downstairs heard screams and later informed her. When Vandana rushed back and the door was broken open, she was shocked to see the bodies of her husband and children.
Seeing the bodies of her son, daughter, and husband, she fainted. After regaining consciousness, she broke down in grief, crying loudly and hugging the bodies of her children before fainting again.
