Ludhiana, March 30: Punjabi singer Mankirt Aulakh has raised concerns over the continuous leaking of his unreleased songs. He revealed that even after getting a leaked track removed, it quickly reappears on other platforms. According to him, “one person deletes it, another uploads it,” making the issue difficult to control.
The problem has also affected the late singer Sidhu Moose Wala, whose unreleased songs are reportedly being leaked online. Despite repeated appeals from his family to not share unfinished work, such content continues to surface, worrying fans and the industry.
The repeated incidents highlight a growing piracy problem in the Punjabi music scene. Leaked songs often disrupt official releases, reduce potential earnings, and impact an artist’s creative plans. With content spreading rapidly across platforms like YouTube and social media, controlling unauthorized uploads has become increasingly challenging.
Artists are now demanding stricter copyright enforcement and better digital security to prevent such leaks. The issue has once again raised concerns about protecting creative work in the digital age.
