Massive Fire at Jindal Petro Warehouse in Ambala; Entire Area Engulfed in Flames

A massive fire suddenly broke out around 9:00 AM on Monday at the Jindal Petro warehouse located in Mandor, Ambala, Haryana. Within a short time, the fire intensified rapidly, and towering flames began rising from the warehouse.

A thick pall of black smoke engulfed the entire area, triggering panic and chaos among the residents nearby. Upon receiving the information, the fire department and the police rushed to the scene and launched an operation to extinguish the blaze.

It is reported that the warehouse housed petroleum products, oils, and various chemicals. Due to the presence of highly flammable materials, the fire spread rapidly and engulfed the entire warehouse in no time. The flames were so intense that they were visible from a considerable distance, creating an atmosphere of terror throughout the surrounding region.

Upon receiving the alert, several fire tenders arrived at the scene. The heat radiating from the fire was so intense that the personnel faced significant difficulties in approaching the warehouse. After strenuous efforts, the operation to bring the fire under control continued unabated.

Employees Safely Evacuated

As a precautionary measure, all employees working inside the warehouse were immediately evacuated and moved to a safe location. No casualties have been reported during this incident, thereby averting a major loss of life. In this fire incident, goods worth lakhs of rupees stored inside the warehouse were completely reduced to ashes. The petroleum and chemical-related products present in the warehouse were entirely destroyed, resulting in substantial financial losses.
