Mathura: 17-Year-Old Girl Shouts for Justice After Alleged Rape by Cult Leader

Mathura: A 17-year-old girl created a ruckus on the street, accusing an alleged Baba of rape. She screamed loudly, pleading for help.

The girl was with her mother during the incident. They both asked a traffic police officer present there to call an auto, after which the girl went to the police station. Police have registered a case based on the complaint, and the victim was sent for a medical examination.

Criminal was living with his mother
According to police, the girl’s mother had donated her house to the accused Baba. Later, she began living with him in a live-in relationship. The accused has been identified as Prakash Chandra Behera, originally from Odisha, and had been living in the same house for the past three years.

Personal Background
The victim is originally from Gwalior, Madhya Pradesh, and is a 10th-grade student at a Gurukul in Palwal, Haryana. Her mother was formerly a government teacher but moved to Mathura after leaving her job.

It is reported that her mother had taken a loan of approximately 15 lakh rupees for house construction, some of which had been repaid. This often led to disputes in the family.

Protest in Vrindavan
On Sunday, the girl created a ruckus on the Parikrama Marg in Vrindavan and made serious allegations against the accused. A crowd gathered at the scene, after which the police arrived and brought the situation under control.

The police have taken the accused into custody and begun questioning him. According to officials, an FIR has been registered in the case and further legal action is being taken.
