New Delhi: The BJP on Wednesday termed the election of Nitin Nabin as its new National President a historic moment, describing it as a matter of pride for the party and its workers across the country.

Reacting to Nabin’s elevation, BJP spokesperson Guru Prakash Paswan said the development has generated immense enthusiasm and positive energy within the organisation, particularly in Bihar. Speaking to IANS, Paswan said the appointment was a historic moment and a matter of pride for party workers, highlighting Nabin’s journey from a grassroots worker to leading the world’s largest political party.

BJP Rajya Sabha MP Deepak Prakash also expressed happiness over the appointment, calling it a moment of great joy for the organisation. He described Nitin Nabin as an able administrator who has played a key role in strengthening the party and is known for his simplicity and humility.

BJP Bihar State President Sanjay Saraogi said there is widespread excitement across Bihar and the country, noting that even the Prime Minister had recently remarked that Nitin Nabin was his “boss” in the party, underscoring the supremacy of the organisation and the rise of ordinary workers to national leadership.

Bihar Minister Dilip Kumar Jaiswal said Nitin Nabin’s political and administrative experience would further strengthen the organisation and help connect youth across the country with the BJP. Bihar Minister Shrawon Kumar added that Bihar had, for the first time, received the responsibility of the BJP’s national presidency, calling it a proud moment for the state.
