Jalandhar: Radisson Hotel Jalandhar is actively promoting women empowerment and sustainability under the leadership of Shruti Kapoor, Director of the hotel. Kapoor highlighted that encouraging multiple members of a family to earn not only benefits individual households but also contributes to the prosperity of the city and the state of Punjab.

The hotel focuses on creating a safe and supportive environment where women employees can thrive across all departments. Regular events and gatherings are organised to foster camaraderie among staff.

These include educational and wellness activities such as hand hygiene workshops, World Environment Day celebrations, and International Yoga Day, aimed at reinforcing a sense of belonging among women employees. A rainwater harvesting plant has also been installed to reuse water, aligning with efforts towards carbon neutrality. The hotel also supports local art. Its walls feature paintings celebrating Sikh soldiers, intended both to honour their contributions and to promote the work of Punjab-based artists. Kapoor emphasised that empowering women and promoting sustainable practices go hand in hand.
