Meerut Blue Drum Murder: Husband’s killer Muskan Rastogi gives birth to baby girl in Jail

Muskan Rastogi, who came into the limelight after the Blue Drum murder case in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, gave birth to a daughter on Monday. Late Saturday night, Muskan Rastogi experienced severe pain and was taken to Meerut Medical College. A normal delivery was performed on Monday under the supervision of doctors.

According to doctors, both mother and child are completely healthy. This is Muskan Rastogi’s second daughter. The coincidence is that Muskan gave birth to her second daughter on the same day as Saurabh Rajput’s birthday, her husband, whom she killed along with her lover.

Both baby-mother healthy

The baby girl weighs 2.5 kg. According to doctors, both mother and child are completely healthy. Most notably, Saurabh Rajput, the husband for whose murder Muskan is imprisoned, also shares his birthday on November 24th.

First daughter with grandparents
Muskan’s first daughter, Pihu, is currently living with Saurabh’s parents. When police arrested Muskan along with her boyfriend, Sahil, she was one and a half months pregnant. On Sunday night, she was referred to the medical college after her pain suddenly increased.

There, Dr Shagun, head of the gynaecology department, and a team of five doctors performed a safe, normal delivery.

Saurabh’s family will conduct tests
Saurabh’s elder brother, Rahul, said, “We will conduct a DNA test on the baby. If the child is my brother’s, we will adopt him.” The family says they are still emotionally devastated by the case, but will not back down from taking responsibility for the child.

Crowds increase at the medical college
Muskan Rastogi has been one of the most talked-about accused in the state for the past several months. She is known as “Muskan with the blue drum.” That’s why, as soon as news of her delivery spread, a huge crowd gathered at the medical college.
