Divyansh Joshi’s Stunning Century Powers Meerut Mavericks to 203/7

Mavericks captain Rinku Singh won the toss and chose to bat first, with the decision paying off immediately.

Openers Swastik Chikara and Divyansh Joshi, who was brought into the playing XI specifically for the final, put together a quick 53-run opening partnership.

After Chikara’s dismissal, Joshi took complete control of the innings. The aggressive batter launched a spectacular counter-attack and took apart the Lucknow bowling attack, including experienced pacer Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Joshi smashed a breathtaking 105 off just 40 balls, hitting 12 boundaries and seven sixes. His explosive century powered Meerut Mavericks to 203/7 in their allotted 20 overs and put the Falcons under enormous pressure.

Lucknow Falcons Bowled Out for 109

Chasing 204 in their maiden final, Lucknow Falcons struggled to build momentum from the beginning.

Meerut’s bowlers maintained relentless pressure and kept picking up wickets at regular intervals, preventing the Falcons from forming any substantial partnerships.

Ajeet Verma provided some resistance with a fighting 39 off 24 deliveries, but his innings ended after a sharp run-out.

Vishal Chaudhary then dismantled the Falcons’ middle and lower order with an outstanding spell of 4/24.

Lucknow were eventually bowled out for just 109 in 16 overs, handing Meerut Mavericks a comprehensive 94-run victory.

Zeeshan Ansari Wins Purple Cap

Meerut’s premier spinner Zeeshan Ansari also capped a superb individual campaign with two wickets in the final.

His performance took his tournament tally to 25 wickets, earning him the Purple Cap as the season’s leading wicket-taker.

Divyansh Joshi was named Player of the Match for his match-winning century on the biggest stage.

Meanwhile, Kashi Rudras captain Karan Sharma finished the season as the tournament’s leading run-scorer. His tally of 361 runs earned him the Orange Cap.

With a dominant batting display, disciplined bowling attack and another successful final campaign, Meerut Mavericks completed a memorable UP T20 League 2026 season by lifting the trophy.
