15-Year-Old Girl Dies by Suicide in Ghaziabad Apartment

Ghaziabad: A tragic incident was reported from Shalimar City under the Tilamod police station area of Ghaziabad, where a 15-year-old girl died by suicide after jumping from the balcony of her flat on Sunday morning. Local residents alerted the police immediately after the incident.

Police Rush Girl to Hospital, Death Confirmed
According to Shalimar Garden ACP Atul Kumar Singh, a call was received on Dial 112 around 7:25 a.m. regarding the incident involving Ikpreet Kaur, daughter of society resident Jasdeep Singh. The Tilamod police station in-charge, along with his team, rushed to the spot and took the girl to a nearby hospital, where doctors declared her dead.

Student Was Under Academic Stress, Say Police
The body was later sent to the mortuary for post-mortem examination. ACP Singh said preliminary inquiry and conversations with the family revealed that the girl was a Class 10 student and had been under mental stress related to her studies. Further investigation is underway.
