Gurugram: CCTV footage of a robbery that took place on March 12 in the Rajiv Nagar area of Gurugram has surfaced, showing three young men cornering a passerby, grabbing him by the neck, and snatching his iPhone. The victim fell unconscious on the road, and the robbers also took his wallet. Police have arrested all three accused, who were found to be minors.

Victim Attacked While Walking Home

In a complaint filed at Sector 14 police station, the victim stated that he was returning home to Rajiv Nagar after completing his duty when three young men approached him, asking for directions. On his refusal, one of the men grabbed him from behind, forcibly taking his iPhone and wallet. The accused then fled the scene.

Stolen Items Recovered

Police spokesperson Sandeep Kumar confirmed that the stolen items were recovered from the minors. These included an iPhone, ₹400 in cash, an Aadhaar card, and a PAN card. A case has been registered under the relevant sections of the law.

Juvenile Justice Action

Since the accused are under 18 years of age, they were presented before the Juvenile Justice Board and sent to a juvenile home. During interrogation, the suspects admitted to committing minor crimes in the area previously. Police have taken further action as per the Juvenile Justice Act.

Authorities have urged the public to immediately report any suspicious activity in their neighborhoods to prevent such incidents in the future.
