Ajay Kumar, admitted to the Civil Hospital, said he lives on FCI Road. He had gone to his in-laws’ house for some work and when he returned home, some people from his own street surrounded him. According to Ajay, the accused suspected him of informing the police about drug traffickers, especially those selling “chitta.”

Attack with Sticks

The accused started an argument with them over this issue, which quickly escalated into a physical altercation. Ajay alleges that the attackers attacked him with sticks and beat him. When his sister, Rekha, heard the commotion and rushed to the scene to rescue him, the accused attacked her as well. Rekha stated that she was also assaulted and her clothes were torn during the scuffle.

After the incident, both were brought home with the help of nearby people.
