Mohali: Case Against Ex-Vigilance SSP Hargobind Singh, Wife and Son Over Dowry Demand Allegations

A case has been registered against former Vigilance SSP Hargobind Singh, his wife, and son in Mohali on charges of demanding dowry. According to the information received, Hargobind Singh’s daughter-in-law has accused him of demanding dowry. The SSP’s son, Kuldeep Raj Singh, is also posted in Vigilance.

A case was registered in Mataur police station in which Hargobind Singh and his wife, and Kuldeep Raj Singh, posted in Vigilance, have also been registered in the FIR in Mataur police station under 315 (2) bns, 85 bns, 115 (2) bns.

Let us tell you that five years ago, Gurpreet Kaur was married to Hargobind Singh’s son, Kuldeep Raj Singh. Since then, dowry has been demanded continuously. Accusations of beating and abusing her have been made.

Amandeep Singh, head of Mataur police station, says that the victim’s family’s side was heard, and further action has been initiated after receiving a written complaint.
